According to a release from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan on 14 April 2026 and signed a tax information exchange agreement. The agreement is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
