Tax Treaty Between Lithuania and Russia Terminated

The 1999 tax treaty between Lithuania and Russia is terminated with effect from 1 January 2026. As previously reported, Lithuania published Law No. XIV-2991 for the termination of the treaty on 10 October 2024, which follows Russia's suspension of several provisions of the treaty in August 2023. The termination of the treaty was confirmed earlier by Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
