According to a release from the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Argentina and Lithuania signed an economic cooperation agreement on 13 July 2018 and the two sides are working to conclude additional agreements, including an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
