Tax Treaty between Armenia and Japan Under Negotiation

Japan's Ministry of Finance has announced that negotiations for a new income tax treaty with Armenia began on 9 October 2024. The treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1986 tax treaty between Japan and the former Soviet Union as it applies with respect to Japan and Armenia.
