The Belarus Ministry of Taxes and Duties has announced the signing of an income tax treaty with Zimbabwe on 31 January 2023. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and provides for the following withholding tax rates:
- Dividends - 5% if the beneficial owner holds at least 20% of the paying company's capital; otherwise, 10%
- Interest - 5%, with exemptions for interest paid to the government, central bank, etc.
- Royalties - 5%
