According to a recent update from the UAE Ministry of Finance, the income tax treaty between Botswana and the United Arab Emirates entered into force on 27 March 2020. The treaty, signed 12 October 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries.
Taxes Covered
The treaty covers Botswana income tax and capital gains tax charged under the Income Tax Act and covers UAE income tax and corporate tax.
