Tax Treaty between Cape Verde and Hong Kong to be Negotiated

According to an update from the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department, officials from Cape Verde and Hong Kong are scheduled to hold the first round of negotiations for an income tax treaty from 22 to 26 January 2024. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
