Ecuador's Ministry of foreign affairs issued a release on 31 March 2019 announcing that the first round of negotiations for an income tax treaty with Denmark ended on 28 March. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
