According to an announcement by the Moldovan Ministry of Economy, officials from Egypt and Moldova agreed during a meeting on 15 December 2015 to begin tax treaty negotiations. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized signed and ratified before entering into force.
