According to a release from the Ethiopian Embassy to Switzerland, officials from Ethiopia and Switzerland met on 22 January 2019 to discuss bilateral relations and agreed to expedite the signing of an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
