According to a recent update from the Moroccan General Directorate of Taxation (DGI), the income tax treaty between Ethiopia and Morocco entered into force on 3 July 2019. The treaty, signed 19 November 2016, is the first of its kind between the two countries

The treaty covers Ethiopian tax on income and profit, and the tax on income from mining, petroleum, and agricultural activities. It covers Moroccan income tax and corporation tax.
