Tax Treaty between Germany and Moldova to be Negotiated

On 7 February 2024, the Moldovan government authorized the negotiation of a new income tax treaty with Germany. Any resulting treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1981 tax treaty between Germany and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of Germany and Moldova.
