According to an announcement by the Kenyan Government, officials from Ghana and Kenya have agreed during a meeting on 13 December 2014 to begin tax treaty negotiations. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized signed and ratified before entering into force.
