According to an update published by the Greek Public Revenue Authority (AADE), the 2010 tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates ceased to apply as of 18 December 2024, in accordance with Article 30 (Termination) of the treaty. Article 30 provided that the treaty would only remain in force for a period of 10 years. With the expiry of the ten-year period, the provisions of domestic legislation apply from 18 December 2024.
