On 12 August 2020, officials from Hungary and Kyrgyzstan initialed an income tax treaty. As previously reported, negotiations for the treaty were concluded via video conference from 16 to 18 June 2020. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
