According to a release from the Kazakhstan Embassy in Jakarta, officials from Indonesia and Kazakhstan met on 17 May to discuss financial cooperation and agreed to finalize negotiations for an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
