Officials from Jordan and Macedonia met on 19 November 2018 to discuss bilateral relations and reportedly agreed on the need to begin negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
