Officials from Liechtenstein and Moldova met on 13 April 2022 to discuss bilateral relations and agreed to accelerate negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of their kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
