Officials from Nigeria and Saudi Arabia reportedly met on 5 October 2022 to discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations, including the continued negotiation of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
