According to a release from Taiwan's Ministry of Finance, the income tax treaty between Saudi Arabia and Taiwan entered into force on 1 November 2021. The treaty, signed 2 December 2020, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions.
Taxes Covered
The treaty covers Saudi Zakat and income tax, including the natural gas investment tax. It covers Taiwan profit-seeking enterprise income tax, individual consolidated income tax, and income basic tax.
