The income tax treaty between the Czech Republic and South Korea entered into force on 20 December 2019. The treaty, signed 12 January 2018, replaces the 1992 tax treaty between South Korea and the former Czechoslovakia as it applies in respect of the Czech Republic and South Korea.

Taxes Covered

The treaty covers Czech tax on income of individuals and tax on income of legal persons and covers Korean income tax, corporation tax, special tax for rural development, and local income tax.
