According to an update from the UAE Ministry of Finance, the income tax treaty with the Comoro Islands entered into force on 2 January 2018. The treaty, signed 26 March 2015, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will generally apply from 1 January 2019. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
