Decree 233-2011-EF, published in the Official Gazette of 21 December 2011, provides that the tax value unit (UIT – unidad impositiva tributaria) for 2012 is maintained at PEN 3,650.
The UIT is a reference value used to determine taxable basis, deductions, sanctions and other tax aspects considered by the legislator.
