On 30 March 2023, Thailand published the royal decree for the implementation of the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on the Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (MCAA), which Thailand signed in July 2022. The MCAA provides for the exchange of information under the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS). Thailand intends to begin CRS exchange in September 2023.
