The Thai Cabinet has reportedly approved a reduction of the social security contribution rate for employees to 0.5% for the months of February and March 2021. This follows a previously approved reduction in the rate to 3.0% for both employees and employers for the period January to March 2021. While the contribution rate is further reduced for employees, the employer rate remains 3.0% for February and March.
