The Bahamas Government issue a release on 1 October regarding its commitment to modernizing the financial services sector. In relation to this, the release notes that the government will be introducing relevant amendments to existing laws and will be launching a Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) by the end of 2020 to comply with international standards.
