According to a recent update from the UAE Ministry of Finance, the decree for the ratification pending income tax treaty with Brazil was issued on 19 December 2019. The treaty, signed 12 November 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
