The income and capital tax treaty and protocol between Belarus and Italy, signed on 11 August 2005, entered into force on 30 November 2009. The new treaty generally applies from 1 January 2010. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Italy-USSR income tax treaty of 26 February 1985 in respect of relations between Belarus and Italy.
