On 26 March 2009, Belgium ratified the income and capital tax treaty between Belgium and Tunisia , signed on 7 October 2004, by way of Law No. 1859-003. Once in force and effective the new treaty will generally replace the Belgium-Tunisia income and capital tax treaty of 22 February 1975.
