Treaty between Czech Republic and Cyprus enters into force

The income tax treaty and protocol between the Czech Republic and Cyprus, signed on 28 April 2009, entered into force on 26 November 2009. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2010. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Czechoslovakia-Cyprus income and capital tax treaty of 15 April 1980 in respect of relations between the Czech Republic and Cyprus.
