Treaty between Czech Republic and Cyprus initialled

On 23 March 2007, the Czech Republic and Cyprus initialled a newincome tax treaty following the fourth round of negotiations in Nicosia. Once signed and in force, the new treaty will replace the Czech Republic-Cyprus income and capital tax treaty of 15 April 1980. Further details of the new treaty will be reported subsequently.
