On 25 May 2010, Finland and China (People's Rep.) signed an income tax treaty and protocol, in Beijing. Once in force, the new treaty will replace the Finland-China (People's Rep.) income tax treaty of 12 May 1986 as amended by the 1995 protocol. The treaty was signed in the Chinese, English and Finnish languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of divergence, the English text prevails. The treaty generally follows the OECD Model Convention (2008).
