Treaty between Netherlands and Switzerland enters into force

The income tax treaty and protocol between the Netherlands and Switzerland, signed on 26 February 2010, will enter into force on 9 November 2011. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2012. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Netherlands-Switzerland income and capital tax treaty of 12 November 1951, as amended by the 1966 protocol.
