Treaty between Switzerland and Norway initialed

On 10 June 2009, Switzerland and Norway initialed a new tax treaty to extend the administrative assistance in tax matters under Article 26 of the OECD Model Convention. Once signed and in force, the new treaty will replace the Switzerland-Norway income and capital tax treaty of 7 September 1987, as amended by the 2005 protocol.
