The income tax treaty and protocol between Switzerland and Qatar, signed on 24 September 2009, has entered into force. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2011. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Switzerland-Qatar air transport tax treaty of 30 November 2008.
