On 4 January 2014, the Belgium - China (People's Rep.) Income Tax Treaty (2009) will enter into force. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2015. From this date, the new treaty will replace the Belgium - China (People's Rep.) Income Tax Treaty (1985), as amended by the 1996 protocol.
