On 21 December 2007, the Brazilian Congress approved the first-time income tax treaty and protocol betweenBrazil and Russia, signed on 22 November 2004. The approval was made through the enactment and publication of Legislative Decree No. 376 in the Official Gazette of 24 December 2007.
