Treaty between Croatia and Italy enters into force

The income tax treaty and protocol between Croatia and Italy, signed in Rome on 29 October 1999, entered into force on 15 September 2009. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2010. From this date, the new treaty replaces the former Yugoslavia-Italy income and capital tax treaty of 24 February 1982 in respect of relations between Croatia and Italy.
