On 7 August 2013, the Cyprus - Ukraine Income Tax Treaty (2012) entered into force. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2014. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Cyprus - Former USSR Income and Capital Tax Treaty (1982), in relations between Cyprus and Ukraine.
