Treaty between Denmark and Cyprus enters into force

According to a statement issued on 16 August 2011 by the Danish Ministry of Finance, the income tax treaty between Denmark and Cyprus, signed on 11 October 2010, entered into force on 18 May 2011. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2012. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Denmark-Cyprus income and capital tax treaty of 26 May 1981.
