The new income and capital tax treaty between Romania and Morocco, signed on 2 July 2003, entered into force on 17 August 2006. The new treaty generally applies from 1 January 2007. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Morocco-Romania income tax treaty of 11 September 1981.
