Treaty between Russia and Thailand approved by lower chamber of Russian parliament

On 5 December 2008, the Russian State Duma (lower chamber of parliament) approved the income tax treaty between Russia and Thailand , signed on 23 September 1999. The treaty must still be approved by the Council of Federation (upper chamber of the parliament), signed by the President and, subsequently, ratified by Russia.
