Treaty between Singapore and Germany enters into force

Following the ratification by Germany, the new income and capital tax treaty and protocol between Singapore and Germany, signed on 28 June 2004, entered into force on 12 December 2006. The new treaty generally applies from 1 January 2007. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Singapore and Germany income and capital tax treaty and protocol of 19 February 1972.
