In press releases of 3 and 5 March 2008, the Netherlands Antilles State Secretary for Fiscal Affairs announced its treaty programme for 2008. For 2008, priority is given to tax treaties; from mid-2006 to the end of 2007, the Netherlands Antilles concentrated on concluding tax information exchange agreements.
