Trinidad and Tobago Further Extends Tax Amnesty Period

Trinidad and Tobago Finance Minister Colm Imbert reportedly informed the Senate on 16 May 2023 that the country's tax amnesty period has been extended to 30 June 2023 to give businesses more time to get their taxes in order. The tax amnesty, originally launched on 14 November 2022, provides relief from penalties and interest on taxes owed up to and including the year ending 31 December 2021. The tax amnesty period was previously extended to 19 May 2023.
