Turkey's Revenue Administration has announced that the application date of the new accommodations tax has been deferred to 1 January 2021. The deferral is provided for as part of Amendment Law No. 7226 of 25 March 2020. The 2% tax was introduced as part of Law No. 7194 ({News-2019-12-13/A/4-previous coverage}) and was to apply from 1 April 2020.
