Turkey's Revenue Administration has announced the publication of Presidential Decision No. 4273 of 13 July 2021, which further extends the 0% municipal entertainment tax rate on ticketed domestic and foreign film screenings (i.e., movie theatres). Normally imposed at a rate of 10%, the entertainment tax rate was reduced to 0% from 23 December 2020 and was subsequently extended to 31 July 2021. With the latest decision, the 0% entertainment tax rate now applies until 31 May 2022.
