On 24 February 2021, Turkey published Presidential Decree No 3579, which extends the regional social security contribution reduction introduced by Law No. 6486 of 29 March 2013. Previously provided until 31 December 2020, the 6% reduction of employer social security contributions for employers in specified regions is now provided until 31 December 2021.
