According to a release from the Turkish Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Services published on 6 November 2024, officials from Guinea and Turkey have met to discuss areas of bilateral cooperation, including Turkey's interest in negotiating an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
