On 7 December 2024, Turkey published Presidential Decision No. 9226 in the Official Gazette, which provides for the ratification of the administrative arrangement signed on 21 May 2024 for the implementation of the social security agreement with Romania. The agreement, signed 6 July 1999, entered into force on 1 March 2003. The administrative arrangement will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
